National Aviation Hall of Fame

Airline Captain Connie Tobias, portrays aviation legend Harriot Quimby. Tobias accepted the enshrinement honors for the late Quimby at NAHF ceremonies in Dayton, Ohio. Harriot Quimby was the first female licensed pilot in the U.S. and the first woman to pilot an airplane across the English Channel. She was killed in an airplane crash in 1912.
